And we’re live!
Appiku.com is now live.
It’s been quite an adventure building the service, and it’s not done yet. An extensive roadmap over the next year for version 2 will be available for review and viewing within the next week or so.
Appiku wouldn’t be possible without the help of Orman Clark who’s awesome design work saved Appiku from having it’s launch pushed back by at least 4 weeks. WordPress which powers the main Appiku.com site & blog, the awesome people at Rackspace who were a big help in getting servers for MyAppiku dashboard up and running, and the ASmallOrange team for getting our sever (which hosts Appiku.com) back up in a timely fashion after the little hiccup they had. Also to my wonderful wife who was super supportive while I worked long hours, nights, end every weekend getting this project live – it couldn’t have happened without her.
Appiku is now live, but that’s now where it stops. Appiku hasn’t even been promoted yet, no ads, no news in tech blogs, etc – that begins now. If you have an blog or site targeting App Builders, let us know. We’d love to sponsor it. We’ll also be promoting the service at conferences, events, hackathons, and more over the next year, also regularly updating the service with new features and app site themes.
